Our Mission & Vision
Founded in 1970 by Dr. R. S. Krishnan, Voluntary Health Services emerged from a need to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare to all sections of society in Tamil Nadu. Our mission is to deliver comprehensive medical services through a patient-centered approach, leveraging technology and compassion.
With a network of 3 hospitals and 12 clinics across Tamil Nadu, we serve over 200,000 patients annually. Our vision is to be the leading non-profit healthcare provider in South India, recognized for clinical excellence and community impact.
We are accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) and maintain partnerships with global health organizations. Our research division contributes to medical advancements in tropical diseases and public health.
Our core values include integrity, empathy, innovation, and inclusivity. We believe healthcare is a fundamental right, and our sliding-scale fee system ensures no one is denied treatment due to financial constraints.
